Dr. Tim Walters

Dr. Tim

Tim Walters grew up in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. Having always had pets, Tim’s desire to be a veterinarian goes back as far as he can remember. His first real job was working at a boarding facility attached to the local veterinary clinic. When he was old enough, he transferred to the main hospital where working as an animal assistant cemented his desire to become a veterinarian. After graduating from Pierce College, Tim attended veterinary school at UC Davis and completed his DVM degree in 2007.

After vet school, Dr. Tim returned to his original hospital to work as a veterinarian, and did so for over 3 years. He then moved to Columbus, Ohio to be with his now wife, Emily while she completed her residency in veterinary clinical pathology. They moved back to California in 2013 and have lived in both Southern and Northern California, though they have now settled in the Bay Area.

They have a golden retriever named Kirby, a rescued poodle terrier mix named Lola and a box turtle named Tina, who Tim rescued as a teenager. Dr. Tim enjoys spending his free time outdoors, hiking, biking, and gardening.  When not outdoors, he is usually watching sports or listening to music.
